1. Open the page you want to edit
2. Type the text for the link and drag your mouse over the text to select it
3. While the text is highlighted go to the editor menu and select the hyperlink icon (looks like a chain)
4. In the pop up dialog box enter the website address you want to link to in the “Link URL” line. Make sure you type http:// in front of the web address so it looks like this example: http://yourlink.com
5. If it is an external link to another site select “blank” from the target drop down menu. That will open the link in a new window rather than over top of yours
6. If it is an internal link to somewhere in your site leave the target at its default which is “open in this window / frame”
